Donostia, November 2025. — TrebezIA, a Basque autonomous robotics startup specializing in intralogistics, has been admitted into the Fast Track Innobideak program, a Basque Government support initiative aimed at driving R&D projects with high potential for industrial scaling. The company is participating with the project FLEXMATE: Flexible Robotics for the Automation of Complex Intralogistics Environments (File QB-2025/00215), whose execution period runs from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
Scaling and validating in a real environment
FLEXMATE aims to scale and validate a mobile order-picking robot in a real warehouse environment, incorporating advanced flexible robotics technologies. For a startup like TrebezIA, the project provides a path to accelerate the market launch of its first product, transitioning from technological demonstration to operational validation.
This scaling process is further supported by Tecnalia, a member of the Basque Network of Science, Technology and Innovation (RVCTI), which brings extensive expertise in flexible robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced automation. Tecnalia has accompanied TrebezIA since its inception, a connection that dates back to the company's origins as a spin-off of the technology center.
