Donostia, March 2026. — TrebezIA has been selected as one of the 21 participating startups in the 2025 edition of the BIND 4.0 program, promoted by SPRI (the Basque Government's agency for competitive transformation). The call received over 800 applications from companies worldwide, making this selection a meaningful recognition of the technological soundness and market potential of TrebezIA's solution.

BIND 4.0 is an open innovation program that connects technology startups with large corporate companies to develop collaborative projects with real operational impact. In this edition, TrebezIA will work alongside a corporate partner in the logistics sector to design and execute a technology validation project.

Mairon: from demonstration to operational validation

Throughout the program, TrebezIA will work together with its corporate partner to identify and define the use cases where Mairon — TrebezIA's autonomous mobile robot, equipped with autonomous navigation, 3D perception, and artificial intelligence — can deliver the greatest value within real intralogistics operations. The ultimate goal is to design and execute a project in a real operational environment.

The program includes:

A structured schedule of joint work between startup and corporate.

Specialized training and mentoring sessions focused on innovation and business scaling.

A DemoDay in June 2026, where TrebezIA will present the results of the project to investors and sector leaders.

“Being selected from over 800 startups worldwide is a clear signal that the problem we solve is real and that our technology is ready for the next step. BIND 4.0 is not just visibility: it is the opportunity to prove, in real conditions and alongside a reference operator, that Mairon works where it matters most.”

— Jon Oñativia, CEO of TrebezIA

A startup with consistent progression

The BIND 4.0 selection comes at a consolidation moment for TrebezIA. In recent months, the startup has demonstrated Mairon's capabilities to thousands of industry professionals at trade fairs including Logistics & Automation Spain (IFEMA Madrid, October 2025) and BIEMH 2026 (BEC Bilbao, March 2026), where it presented for the first time in public the live collaboration between an autonomous mobile robot and a humanoid robot under the Proactive Factory concept.

Joining BIND 4.0 represents the next logical step: moving from technology demonstration to operational validation in a real environment, with a real customer, and with measurable impact.
